Design & Concept

The brief was to create an elegant, refined mother of the bride store with robust but beautiful rails that stand the test of time and showcase each gown in the best possible light while reducing reliance on traditional overhead lighting.

Bespoke Manufacture & Illumination

We designed, manufactured, and installed bespoke display rails across two floors, illuminated from both above and below to highlight each dress. The rails were structurally engineered to withstand the weight of the gowns, preventing any bowing over time and ensuring long-term performance.

Finished in a custom sprayed colour, each rail was powder coated with a hard-wearing finish to provide durability and longevity. A bespoke mannequin stand with integrated illuminated tiers was also designed, creating a refined focal point within the store.

As a personal touch from the client, a line drawing of the beautiful building was incorporated into the design. We translated this into a bespoke lightbox canvas, softly illuminated to create a warm, ambient glow that pays tribute to the building's fine architectural details.

Signage & Final Outcome

Internally, individually sprayed and illuminated letters provide a warm, ambient glow, while externally a bespoke hanging sign was designed to use the building's original fixings, preserving its heritage features.

The indoor illuminated sign remains on after hours, glowing beautifully through the window and attracting the attention of passers-by.

The completed fit-out delivers a luxurious, timeless environment that balances craftsmanship, functionality, and welcoming experience.
